A lever float steam trap is an automatic valve used in steam pipelines and equipment. It efficiently discharges condensate, air, and other non-condensable gases while preventing steam leakage. Widely applied in industrial steam heating systems, large heat exchangers, dryers, jacketed kettles, etc., it is particularly suitable for high-capacity condensate drainage scenarios.
Working Principle
- Buoyancy-Driven Mechanism: When condensate levels rise, the float is lifted by buoyancy, actuating a lever that opens the valve to release excess water. As the level drops, the float descends, closing the valve via the lever. This process is entirely mechanical and requires no external power.
