1. Structure and Components
- Main Transmission Components: Comprises a housing, a cover, a worm wheel, and a worm. Inside the housing, the worm wheel and the worm are meshed. Outside the housing, the worm is fixedly connected to a handwheel. By rotating the handwheel, the worm rotates, driving the worm wheel to operate.
- Signal Indicator Components: The signal indicator is a key part, including two cams, a cam support shaft, two contact switches, terminal blocks, an indicator disc, an indicator disc cover, and a circular support cover. The circular support cover is fixed at a specific position on the top surface of the cover. The lower part of the cam support shaft is inserted into a limit sleeve and fixed in a clamping manner. Two cams are sleeved and fixed on the upper part of the cam support shaft, and an indicator disc is coaxially fixed at the top end of the cam support shaft. A pointer is installed on one side of the indicator disc. The contact switches correspond to the cams and are installed on the top surface of the circular support cover through brackets. They are connected to the terminal blocks via wires. The outgoing wires of the terminal blocks are led out and connected to the central control room.
2. Working Principle
When the handwheel is rotated to drive the worm and the worm wheel to rotate, the cam support shaft of the signal indicator, which is coaxially connected to the worm wheel, rotates accordingly. During the rotation of the cams, they trigger the contact switches. The action of the contact switches generates electrical signals, which are transmitted to the central control room through the terminal blocks and wires. At the same time, the pointer of the indicator disc rotates, visually displaying the valve status, thus achieving remote signal feedback and local indication of the valve status.
